Cannabutter general information

Cannabutter a.k.a weed butter, marijuana butter, pot butter or space butter is, in basic terms, a solution made by mixing different types of edible butter with raw or even vaporized cannabis strains or buds.

The THC will stick to the fat cells in butter, so nothing goes to waste as you might be thinking. Actually, the high from cannabutter products is considered by many a more intense and longer lasting high then from inhaling. This makes cannabutter a great product not only for those who can't afford to smoke anymore, but even for those who want to surprise or just can't stand the smoke from a regular joint.

Cannabutter can be made in various ways and formulas, from the simplest and most basic method (using only a pan and a wooden spoon) to some more complicated methods that require specialized equipment like a Slow Cooker.

Cooking time may vary depending on the method you want to use from a few  minutes up to even 24 hours. For example, if you want to make a basic, pan cooked cannabutter recipe, you need to cook it between 8-25 minutes, keeping the temperature below 100 °C (212 °F). For a slow cooked at low temperature recipe (under 95°C in a Slow Cooker), you'll need to wait up to 20 hours.

Proportions: For every ounce of cannabis (28 grams) use 1 lb (500grams) of butter. Of course, depending on the quality of the weed you use, the proportions may suffer small variations. So, do your math, keep the proportions right and you'll experience some of the greatest sensations ever experienced.

Cannabutter can be basically used as a substitute for every recipe that requires butter.
